		BIO Prior to founding MATAKdesign, Sally Matak worked for a year with a small design firm in Rochester, and worked for design firm in Birmingham, Michigan for nearly a decade working on multiple residential, corporate, and hospitality projects. With a genuine thirst for knowledge, Sally obtained her Builders License in 2005 and, in 2007, wrote and passed the National Qualification for Interior Designers (NCIDQ) exam and became a Professional Member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). In 2008 she was a Detroit Home Design Award winner and a Rising Star finalist. Sally’s work has been published in The Detroit News, Signature Magazine and Detroit Home magazines.
